Setting Mava up takes under 10 minutes! As a reminder, you can always add the Mava bot to a private Discord and/or Telegram channel for testing.

How to get started

Option 1: Onboarding call

1. Book an onboarding call with a member of the team to walk you through and make sure everything is configured and permissioned correctly within Discord & Telegram (easiest option).

1. Decide who on the team will be the Master Admin (they must have Discord admin permissions & a metamask wallet), responsible for creating the team
2. The Master Admin should open the **Mava Dashboard** (https://dashboard.mava.app/) and connect with a Metamask wallet (you can use a new/empty Metamask wallet if you want)

1. Create a username and add your email address (email address optional)

1. Name your team (E.g. Gitcoin or Ethereum Foundation)

1. Invite your team (you can skip this and do it later within the team section).

   Generate one link for each team member and share this with them. It’s one link per person.

   Roles explained: When assigning levels to new team members there are two options. Admins can update all settings and integrations and see analytics OR Moderators, who can only see messages and update their own profile information.
